  1. I've still got some open skin radio! Just saw JR today actually he can attest.

I can't believe this thread is still going and man am I embarrassed of the 18 year old me, not sure why I was so sensitive back then but sorry to Chadd and anyone else I was being a whiney shit to. Best part is you were all right and I can totally admit that, I'm 26 now with two boys and those tattoos I first got are all covered up because they suck! You guys told me but I thought I was too smart for you so this is my apology sorry for being such a baby you guys were only looking out. Thankfully the situation has all changed, my oldest son, Landon, who was who I got that first terrible tattoo for is almost 9 and I've got my little guy Liam who just turned two and he's already got a pair of tacks and a one piece stick getting him stated young! Landon is with me 5-7 days a week depending on the week, Liam lives with his mother and myself full time now I'm too busy to get tattooed. I've worked at an award winning shop for the last 5+ years, and when the opportunity presented it self I took over as owner of B'z Ink Tattoo in Troy, MI. Funny how things all work out in the end, by now I've got 60+% of my body tattooed, lots of works in progress but once it all comes together I'll post a few photos you can see how much I've changed glad to be back here!

Got a ton of blue pumped into my chest about a month ago, finishing it up soon with bright purples in the backround shading and obviously bright reds for the heart. Definatly going to pop when its all done. Work done by Matt Hessler at X's in Rochester MI

  3. Its winter time, time for me to load up on ink per usual. Got my chest started out on the 11th of Dec. The "Death Before Dishonor" was there previously. This was the first sitting, one more for the coloring and it will be complete. Done by Matt Hessler at XS in Rochester Michigan.

**Note: all the redish looking smoke and clouds healed very light grey, its a method to outline something without using hard black lines, it will look much more complete when finished.

My new tattoo for my grandfather passing away last saturday. It is the 18th hole of st andrews in scottland becasue we were both avid golfers, and we were planning on going to scottland next summer to play argubally the most famous golf course in the world. My grandfather raised me from day one and was the person I called dad, he will be missed very much by myself, my son, and our whole family. RIP Jack Busselle 1/18/1938-11/14/2009. Minor side story, my grandfather died on the 17th hole of the local country club doing what he loved most, he actually said that dying on the golf course was the way to go, so he got his wish.

Done by Dan Rick at Big Top Tattoos in Macomb Michigan

  5. 10 is good for most touch ups, i throw my guy 20-40 pending on how much were doing, but he charges me next to nothing for what i have done, and ive been in his chair for over 60 hours, he needs the extra 10 bucks here and there. keep your artist happy and they will keep you happy, its worked very well for me.

  6. matt its nice you wore your sweater underneath your cut off for the lady, she probally enjoied that. it looks cool tho, youll prob have to go and get some of the giant red spots touched up, but besides that it looks sweet. working with red that much, and blood dripping, skin is irritated, shes bound to miss a spot or two.

  7. i guess im the minority here with jr, i don't mind the white stitching either. maybe i don't mind it on my red pair because there is white on the glove by my black purple pair have no white besides the stitching and it doesn't bother me at all, a little contrast never killed anyone.

  8. the longest I've had some red is like 20 months id say and it is still fire engine red. as long as it is quality ink, and the artist knows what they are doing it should be fine, Matt id think that red would pop on your skin well because you are borderline albino, similar to myself.

  9. i havent had any issues with red ink, but i have issues with yellows and whites. from what i can understand its not a specific color for the entire population, but certain people cant handle certain colors due to their skin tone and the "quality" of the skin. unfortunatly the only way you will know how red is going to heal on you is to get the tattoo in red and see what happens.

  10. thats what i did, BUT the day the order was submitted warrior called me, and i asked them to doulbe check the specs. they told me orange, i said please change it to red. yes sir, order is edited and they will be shipped on ... Then they showed up like this. Not too sure whats going to happen.

  11. i never understood why people say you have to wait a certain amount of time. when i was going every week to get my sleeve done i would play the night of or the day after and have no problems, sure its not very comfortable but it hasnt hurt any of mine. if your concearned you can always cover it up with some plastic wrap and tape for the 2 hours youd be on the ice, then wash it out in the shower. thats the most important part is that after your done and you sweat in it you make sure you wash it out with dial and re moistuize it.
