  1. venom that looks solid, even tho koi fish are common it seems that every one has their own variation and shape to it. like the side piece too. ice got "courage" going down my one side and im getting a burning city line on my other side. probally not gonna be too much fun. i dunno whyu wildebeast is ripping on your work, some of the nicer stuff ive seen. i also dont get why he thinks that birthdays and names are bad? i have my son tattooed on me twice, hes the most important thing to me so why not incooporate him into my work, i also have my moms name tattooed right about my sons in my sleeve. im very curious to see what he has tattooed, he makes fun of venom for having a koifish id be willing to be hes got some nice tribal or barbed wire hiding up there thats why he doesnt want to flaunt it around.

  2. depends how discrete you want it, i have a few friends that have carpe diem on thier wrists and wear a watch or a band of some sort and i never knew they had it, but that all depends if you generally wear something like that and if your comfortable getting something on your wrist. another thing to think about it about you job and what they would say, i know when i reach my hand out to shake someones hand my dress shirt comes up a good inch or two which reveals part of my sleeve. some people notice it some people dont, but when im at meetings with utility companies i definatly dont feel professionaly when part of my dagger, a nautical star, backround, and a bright green dollar sign is all sticking out of my shirt but it doesnt really bother me. another idea is the thigh, my buddy has a decent size tribute to his dad and you can only see it in the locker room, or short boxers. very well hidden. besides that your going to be limited with your shirt off, or wearing shorts.

  3. Were those the ones with the wood paneling on the face?

yeah, navy blue with the "wood" on the forehand and backhand. the heel and bottom of the blade was basically cardboard and would blow out in about a week. keep in mind i had these in like pee wee or bantam and i wasnt quite as strong as i am now, couldnt even imagine what would happen if i used one now. and they were about 50 a pop. then the lhs here was closing them out for like 25, bought a few and blew them all out just as fast. terrible terrible blade.

  4. i think they could tell i just really didnt care at all, alot of the guys would bring up the extra beers for me or they would tip me a few times and then would just peace out without paying, i only chased the highschool kids becasue they were assholes about it and thought they deserved free shit all the time. assholes

  5. little ceasers, honeybaked, and belle tire. all 3 very good and competitive teams at a national level and all dont have a team name. i was born and raised around here and never had the desire to play THAT much hockey but if your serious and from around here thats what you need to be on to be reconized.

  6. I have a question for anyone on this thread, when you are mounting the frame on the boot, what consideration is given to the amount of wheel (front&back) thats sticks out? I know boot size and chassis size will come into play, but before I start drilling I thought I would ask.

i hope your not mounting your own skates, and if you do i hope you know what your doing. front and back is not the only issue when mounting, you have to check wheel clearance from the outsole, you have to check left and right, and you have to detirmine how much hang over on each end you want.

  7. kovalchuck youll be fine with the mount, now that i dont work in the shop anymore i can admit this, but i have eyeballed every single mount i have ever done and not one complaint. that small of a difference will not be noticable to anyone but pro players.

liroadrunners id suggest the bones super swiss 6 ball, they are 80 bucks and the best bearing i have ever used, they never want to stop spinning, check inlinewarehouse.com to get them.

  8. wow, why did you buy in bulk like that? you would have almost been better going custom....

    they are technically custom....

but it is the stick i like, ive never had a stick that has worked better for me and they dont make a retail version with the tactile grip that i like to i spend an extra 20 a stick to get the grip i want, and then i like the fact i can make the colors different and it has my name stamped on it. for $20 more i tihnk its a good deal.
