i weigh a whopping 140 pounds but skate on a 3/4". like everyone else said, it definitely boils down to preference. early on, i read that lighter skaters should be using a deeper hollow, and heavier skaters should be using a shallower one. I followed that a few times but found it didn't work for me so i kept moving up to bigger and bigger hollows until i got to one that worked for me.
