  1. I've tried ZC and I'm someone who prefers a deep hollow. I skate o a 3/8" ROH and use the FBV 95/1 (slightly sharper than the 1/2). I tried the ZC 1, which is supposedly the equivalent to a 3/8" ROH. I was extremely impressed, and felt I had increased glide over the ROH, but nothing noticeable over the FBV. I plan on getting an FBV sharpening done again to more closely compare the turning control as well as glide. After reading some of the other posts, I'm curious if maybe it does benefit those who prefer a deeper hollow...who knows, just a thought. I'm currently awaiting my steel to get sent back with the FBV I'm accustomed to, in order for a back to back test! Cheers
  2. Anyone know what type of Labeta wheels come witht the chassis?
  3. JR, I've been through the thread and I've tried to soak in as much info as possible. I highly value your knowledge and experience. I have a wide foot and I've skated in Vapors for years, with moderate pain in my forefoot. I'm not one of those Peter Forsberg cases with an absolute necessity for nothing other than customs, but I strongly feel I'd benefit from a custom fit and I also want the added durability. I would try the order process myself but I don't have the money or the desire to go through 3 pairs of skates for trial and error before getting it right lol. I know you dont consult on skates you don't personally fit, so I was wondering if you'd be willing/able to fit me at some point down the road?? I'd be willing to travel for a proper fitting from someone who knows what they're doing and I would expect nothing less than a fitting fee from you for your knowledge and expertise. Thanks!
