  1. I never said that I would rather have performance instead of luxury or styling. It was simply a comment against the Carrera GT. I love the z06, but its not my kind of car. Of course its performance destroys the mas, but there is so much more when it comes to purchasing a car.
  2. GT goes 0-60 in 3.6 seconds 997 turbo goes 0-60 in 3.4 seconds with Tiptronic (motor trend claims to have gone 0-60 in 3.2) So that would be faster... AND REALLLY?!?! I thought Porsche tuned their cares on Park Avenue...
  3. Carrera GT? Pshhhh... I couldn't own that car knowing that a Porsche turbo, which costs 1/3 of my fancy super car, can kick my ass to 60... we all know that 0-60 is the only true measure of a cars performance... traffic light to traffic light baby
  4. Of course its possible to drive a RWD car in the snow, but it is not ideal. If your going to be driving a RWD car in the snow at least make sure you've got some weight in the trunk and some studded tires help...
  5. Driving my sisters A6 Quattro in the snow was a dream as compared to any of my RWD cars. The only difference between AWD and 4WD is the fact that AWD can not be put into 2WD mode
  6. No RWD car is going to do well in the snow. I have had 3 RWD cars, and I lived in jersey, where the snow isnt so bad. If your living in Michigan, I suggest getting AWD. Look into a g35x or an a4 quattro
  7. No ESP or any electronic stability program is going to help you in the snow. All it does is apply the breaks and try to even out power. If you are living in an area with a lot of snow, get AWD.
  8. I don't even get the reference. Im a... witch?
  9. There are highway cop cars and dt cars...
  10. Government auctions and repo auctions can be great places to find solid cars. Many of the aforementioned police cars have LS1 (corvette) engines in them and are very well taken care of. Auctions are a great place to find cheap cars.
  11. what price range are you looking at?
  12. Dosent the pope have some sort of anti bullet halo effect or something? I mean, he is the pope.
  13. I second that. Not to mention there are three shades of black or the exterior, guess you forgot what shade ya had.
  14. damn boiiii was you running NOOZZZZZZ
  15. A couple of my friends and an ex of mine have all have Gallants and had no problems. All manufactuers have issues my friend, there are always lemons.
  16. Go with a mitsubishi Galant. Good power for the price, pretty nice cars.
  17. I said nothing about a 3.0? I am talking about the 1.8 and 2.0 TC engines. The 3.0 IS underpowered. 220/220 HP/TQ?! First of all the engine is too small, theres not enough torque. The 3.0L BMW engine used in the 3 series makes 230hp (but only 200 ft/lbs). Second of all for the same price you can get 300 HP from a 3.5 6 banger in the G35. You also get 280 ft/lbs of torque.
  18. My sister owns a 2006 A4. If you are looking for power, stay away from an A4 as they are very underpowered and pretty slow. If you want something in the same price range that is decently quick, go with a G35, They started making them in 2003, so they may be out of your price range. But check out a high millage one, they are great cars and just keep going. Before the A4 she owned a 2002 Passat, which she had many problems with. Same powertrain as the A4 and they also share many bits and pieces. The engine is great in terms of reliability, but they still have electrical problems after 30 years of the same old crap. The A4 drives great especially with quatro, but they are underpowered. The turbo is pretty much maxed out from the factory, so there isnt much room to move.
  19. 12... I owned one before I moved to the city, good car, some problems, but a good car never the less. They depreciate very swiftly.
  20. Go with a Maserati Coupe... well thats unless you want relability. You can get one with low milage for around 50k.
