I never said that I would rather have performance instead of luxury or styling. It was simply a comment against the Carrera GT. I love the z06, but its not my kind of car. Of course its performance destroys the mas, but there is so much more when it comes to purchasing a car.
GT goes 0-60 in 3.6 seconds 997 turbo goes 0-60 in 3.4 seconds with Tiptronic (motor trend claims to have gone 0-60 in 3.2) So that would be faster... AND REALLLY?!?! I thought Porsche tuned their cares on Park Avenue...
Carrera GT? Pshhhh... I couldn't own that car knowing that a Porsche turbo, which costs 1/3 of my fancy super car, can kick my ass to 60... we all know that 0-60 is the only true measure of a cars performance... traffic light to traffic light baby
Of course its possible to drive a RWD car in the snow, but it is not ideal. If your going to be driving a RWD car in the snow at least make sure you've got some weight in the trunk and some studded tires help...
Driving my sisters A6 Quattro in the snow was a dream as compared to any of my RWD cars. The only difference between AWD and 4WD is the fact that AWD can not be put into 2WD mode
No RWD car is going to do well in the snow. I have had 3 RWD cars, and I lived in jersey, where the snow isnt so bad. If your living in Michigan, I suggest getting AWD. Look into a g35x or an a4 quattro
No ESP or any electronic stability program is going to help you in the snow. All it does is apply the breaks and try to even out power. If you are living in an area with a lot of snow, get AWD.
Government auctions and repo auctions can be great places to find solid cars. Many of the aforementioned police cars have LS1 (corvette) engines in them and are very well taken care of. Auctions are a great place to find cheap cars.
