  1. sure it isn't ideal, but up until maybe 30 years ago, it was the only option. I think most people who have never driven a RWD in the snow make it out to be a much bigger deal then it really is. Studded tires aren't really needed either unless you are someplace where its going to be really really cold for a while and the road salt won't work so theres constantly going to be ice / hardpack on the road. Just a good set of snows, and keep the gas tank full of gas and your fine. Never used sand bags in my car, but I"ll end up getting a few for my truck.
  2. People have driven RWD cars in the snow for the past 90 years. I live in buffalo and until about a month ago I was driving a mustang year round. Countless times I took the mustang through white outs and 12" snow drifts because I live out in the sticks and needed to get to work. I never ditched the car or got stuck once. If the car you want is RWD, and thats what you want then buy it, learn how to drive it in the winter and you'll be fine. Good snow tires are a must, but dont let people talk you out of the car you want just because of the snow. If your smart enough to be easy on the gas and the brake, theres no reason why you can't drive a RWD year round.
  3. you have to ease back into it. Right now all those tendons and ligaments are just chilling out because they can't move. Over time they will shrink and contract. Once you are mobile again, you have to take time (physical therapy) to get everything back to a spot where you can start to add strength back to your legs and get skating again. If you are really hardcore, you could go on a serious bulk cycle and add some quality weight to the top half of your frame.
  4. That bike is a land rocket with no wings. I got to drive a 636 in the fall and the bike was awesome. It's what I want to try to buy when Im done with this one. http://www.bikepics.com/pictures/274273/ Thats pretty much my bike right there, except I have a Chrome Vance & Hines exhust and silver wheels.
  5. '91 Mustang Hatchback '91 FZR 600 sport bike
  6. Buffalo sabres. The offense that this team is able to put up is retarded, they have one of the best 6 man d-units in the nhl, and an awesome goalie.
  7. alright, I'll post back once i get to try them on.... Did u bake yours? If so, did they seem fit any bigger after words?
  8. so your saying they prolly wont fit like my skates now then? did u have your AG's baked or no? how much differently did they fit after words? not to get off topic but is there a top of the line skate off the top of your head that would fit about the same size wise as my current skates?
  9. one of my biggest concerns is durability. Is there anything you really like or dislike about the skates? but really im just trying to get a general feel for the skates. I've never skated in a mission skate, and im just trying to get a feel for them before i check them out at the LHS. My last skates were easton SBX ultra lites and before trying on the new skates, the AG110 seems like it would be a good skate to move on to. Right? Abit more expensive, but thats what im looking for anyways. Im coming up on my senior year of college club, and i dont plan on buying skates for a while after this pair, so i want to get it right.
  10. I talked to my LHS today and they told me within two weeks for the new fuel line of skates. can anybody point me to any early reviews onthem? Im leaning initially towards the AG 110, but i'd like to hear some other reviews and comparisons before i chunk out $500 on a pair of skates.
  11. Epuck says april delivery? is that pretty much when the skates will be in LHS's too? I want to look into a pair of AG110's but i dont want to drive the hour to the pro shop to find out they dont have them yet. I would simply call the shop, except they dont have a listed phone number......please dont anyone freak out and say "spring time"
