did it by any chance break right were it is inserted into the shaft? Because my friend has a bunch and his first one broke there.

Pants: Tackla 5000 Air - Good mobility and lots of protection Skates: CCM Pro Tacks - Nice and comfy but took a long time to break in Shins: Rbk 8k - nice and long(18") Shoulers: Jofa 9700 - good protection but a little bulky Elbow: Rbk 8k - Don't move around and come right to the glove Helmet: Bauer 8500 - Nice tight fit super comfy w/ bauer tru-vision cage Gloves: Easton Air - good mobility, protection but the palms are a little thin (on my 3rd set of palms in 4 years)
