  1. It really seems as if the rbz and 100 are almost identical in make except the use of surlyn in the 100? Surprised the 100 will be $549 i figured a little more as it seems very high quality materials are being used!
  2. Those look mounted perfectly (size 9.5 skate what size chassis?). I believe no lift in the back right? Did you have to dremmel? I've been wanting to give the Hum'er a try but I am reluctant since all I have ever known for years is hi-lo.
  3. From one phantom to another (ok corny), nice job on those they are amazing. I tried that skate on and was in heaven at my LHS. Tax refund well worth it i'd say lol!!!
  4. I just had a heart attack with that 11k skate all i can say is wow. FYI i tried them on 2 weeks ago they are one of the most comfortable skates out of box I ever tried on.
  5. i think its aluminum it seems just like a humm'r chassis. What size boot and chassis is that and did you have to dremmel still with the lift?
  6. I'd die to get my hands on that MG HI-LO chassis in that condition, very nice setup I like it.
  7. not less stiff in a bad way, maybe what i meant was just a little more flex in them which i like.
  8. The liner of this boot blew me away as well when I checked them out yesterday. They also seem a little less stiff up top as compared to the XXXX boot.
  9. I have a pair of green E-frames and silver. My fav chassis as well. Just sad that the axles wont go into the silver frame anymore on a few of them, guess they are stripped.
  10. hey getzlaf what size boot and chassis (I believe small?) are you using there?
  11. By any chance would anyone know the difference in length between a small vs medium vanguard chassis in inches or mm's? I have a size 8 flexlite 12 boot that I wanna mount a chassis on and I feel a small may be a better fit as I dont like my wheels to extend to far past both the front or back of the boot.
  12. When i've had frames mounted on my skates I always try to get the front wheel almost even with the tip of the front of the boot or a smidge ahead of it (not much), and not much past the back of the boot. Obviously I needed to search for the perfect sized frame vs my size boot. Thats how i've always felt comfortable. You have to try them out don't get bias from the visual effect of the frame.
  13. I have an 8 size flexlite12 ice hockey boot that I wanna put a vanguard frame on. I read it should have a medium frame but I dont like my wheels too far beyond the front or back of my skate. Do you guys think a medium will extend pretty far beyond the boot or should I attempt to go for a small? Also does anyone know the difference in length between a med and sm?
  14. What are the differences in the boots though? Does the black feel lighter, stiffer or what?
  15. hey Sig I go to wesco all the time where do u play roller? They will do a great job with mounting your frames over there.
