My quick review, is there much of a difference on glide and turn, maybe, but nothing huge, most likely in the mind, however, 2 things it does, which I love,
1. I have almost no buildup of snow on the blade after a shift, in the past I would have to wipe off everytime.
2. My sharpen seems to last longer, usually notice I need a sharpen after 3 icetimes, I'm at 5 skates and I still feel like I could go another one without a sharpen.
Worth $25, you use very little, so it should last, with me and the little guy getting more skates out of the sharpen, it should be worth it from that standpoint.

Nothing you haven't seen, picked up the LE 2nd hand, threw on some whites and boom goes the dynamite. Love that kids grow out of skates so quickly and their dads are willing to sell at such a low $!

Now cops are saying Dunn was traveling between 132 and 140 MPH at the time of his crash + .19
Dude murdered his friend, lucky he didn't kill anymore people.

Someone's stick is FAR too long.
Not a shot, just an opinion from someone who touts the benefits of a shorter stick to everyone I know.
Most important, cute kid (check out those calf muscles!).
I took him out with his sticks from previous years and his shot/stickhandling were all better with the longer stick, for whatever reason, so that's what we stuck with, plus he's short so the extra length has helped get some passes/shots off and stick check some taller kids.
Another parent was just saying your kid has big leg muscles, yeah their huge Bauer implants.

Dont know? I bought them off ebay awhile back, had them repalmed with MSH2 palms. They are one of my favorite pairs I own. I have never seen another pair.
The Canada Eagles are so nice, slick.

Someone needs to start looking up.

Former Calgary Flames Equip Mgr set up a shop 3 min away from home with the Flatbottom V! It was a 20 minute drive to hit and miss hockey expert sharpeners, so pumped, ah the stuff that gets me excited.

F*cking concussion. Everytime you think your back to normal and ready to go, a symptom pops up from almost nothing. Thought I was good Sat, ran up the stairs, felt off.
Other Vent - People dont understand unless they have had one. So if you haven't, shut up.

Sweet- Bauer approved my replacement for TO Shaft and Blade breaks!
Vent- No Shafts until March
Sweet- Offered OPS TO, big up to Bauer for the offer! Also let me go from Int to SR, quality service.
Vent- bought the 2-piece because that's what I wanted.
Sweet- At least I am getting a stick right away, and an OPS at the 2 piece price. (Anyone know what approx delivery time Bauer ships at, 2-3 days or 6-10, thanks)

Sporadic fever and choking up lung butter for over a week while the wife's out of town and I'm taking sole care of the kids. Sick and tired of trying to smile through being sick and tired.
Also: Two year olds going through the "Why?" phase:
"Why is there that in there?"
"There's nothing in there."
"Why?"
"We store those in the cupboards."
"Why is there cupboards?" (How the hell do you even start to answer that one?)
"So we can store things."
"Why?"
I love my little boy, and want him to stay curious and articulate, but sweet Jesus, sometimes my head's ready to pop.
I remember being at resturant and a kid wouldn't leave his dad alone with the what, why, when, how? the dad finally snapped, "Just shut it for a minute", I sat there thinking what a terrible dad. Now with two kids, one who doesn't stop asking questions all day long, some days I could just snap "Shut Up, I don't know", I don't, but if your a parent you understand.

Getting old and seeing my body breakdown!
I hear that and I'm just turning 30. I can't believe the difference I feel compared to 25. Injuries stay longer, conditioning becomes harder.
At 25 I could play at a high level with no off ice activity, 5 yrs later, if I don't start doing some conditioning, my game is really going to start falling off.
I sound like a little b*tch, I can't imagine 35, 40 and 45. This year has been a real wake-up call to get my diet and exercise right.

Nice V08's, very nice!

Yep. 2-4 minutes of coverage. However,, this is the largest ecological disaster and without bringing politics into it: How much coverage would there be if Bush was still in office? If you watch Fox News, they almost expect Obama to pull on some scuba gear, dive down and fix the hole himself. But since he can't, he isn't a good President.
I agree, Dems and Enviromentalist would go nuts if it was on Bush's watch.
(don't try to envolve myself in US politics, Fox News is just of the wall)

Who cares about being in the record books, he gets a corvette!!
Detroit Tigers pitcher Armando Galarraga has been given a 2010 Corvette convertible by General Motors for his near-perfect game that was wiped out by an umpire's blown call.

Picked up a pair of Tix to the Yankees game on Sat. My first time to the new ballpark, and it's supposed to be good weather. Oh yeah, and it's CAP DAY!!Fitted Cap day, like the pros wear, the bomb threat worked 13 yrs later, They GOTTA FIGURE OUT THE HAT SIZES OF 59,000 DIFFERENT PEOPLE!! WHAT IF A PINHEAD SHOWS UP. I GOTTA BE ON TOP OF THAT.

You had a "when keeping it real goes wrong" moment and made the right decision, going further usually ends up worse.

And add powerplays where the first (and only) unit plays the entire time and you easily accrue the minutes.Double shifting a forward in the NHL is still a tough night. You'd be hard pressed to find too many games where the player with the most ice time is a forward.
He is young and fit and should be able to handle it, but after all the hockey the guy has played over the last 2yrs, resting him up a bit, prior to the tourney isn't a bad idea.

Playoff and Tournament time! Could play up to 11 games in the next 10 days.
Vent- the wife is going to be a pain with 11 games in 10 days.

Your Oiler Eagles are still my favorite glove in the Show Off, I need to do a sneak order on the wife and order a pair of those.

27 mins for the Kid tonight, crazy for a forward in a non OT game. I get Malkins out, but are they going to wear the Kid out?
-
They are lower in price, and quality wise its very alike.I wore those for the 1st time last night, and I love them.
His 100yr Habs gloves are really nice, how is the fit dupes, tight/loose/middle? Price?
Supreme Skate Stiffness
in Ice Hockey Equipment

Assist with Supreme stiffness please. 15yr old (130lbs) AA player, I have always been a foolish dad and sucker for good deal, so would always buy previous yrs top of the line, knowing they are probably too stiff, but sold on perceived performance. I have bought him S190 for a great deal, but now looking at the S29 for the same price. (Throw on some better steel)
Starting to think increased flex would be better for his game (should have done this at 12 more than 15). He says he likes stiff skates(Jetspeed,One100 previous) but he has used X90 as his ODR skates and had positive things to say.
Anyone had same experience, dropped down the to the lower flex and results?
Thanks
