    Update with some new-ish stuff

    Helmet: Wht. 5500 with a Bauer Straight cut and a Blk 4500

    Shoulders: old school-style sherwoods

    Elbows: Clearance iTech

    Gloves: Blk 4-Rolls, looking to get the BU colorway from TSR

    Pants: Tackla 2440's

    Shins: Mission Fuel something or others

    Skates: RBK 9k's

    Sticks: 2 TPS RLXN10's, one Drury curve one Zetterberg, Gold AK27 with wooden Drury blade in it.

    I like to think a nice modest collection for a college student.

    So you had to hit the emergency room 3 times for the same broken ankle?

    No, filed 3 claims for the same incident over the last 5 months. each time I call back, they know nothing about it. it's frustrating.

    At least it wasn't made outta XN10, no longer produced and in wicked shape, right?!

    Going to try on some new skates today, hope to get back on the ice next weekend!! it's been 5 long months but the doc said I should try out the ankle.

    UPDATE: Bought some 9k's for less than 300 bucks on HM's Black friday sale. getting so close to getting back out there that I can almost smell it!

    So around 6:30 EST my co worker texted me telling me he had an extra ticket to the phils game. After about a split second of decision making he grabbed me at my house, we drove down to the stadium, had a few beers and watched the game. Afterwards we stopped at Pat's for a steak and some cheese fries. Beautiful night for a ball game and an unexpectedly good night indeed.

    Awesome barbeque yesterday. We got my dad a smoker for father's day a few years ago, and ever since he's used any excuse to bust it out and use it. Not that we argue haha. Yesterday's menu was smoked babyback ribs, smoked beef brisket, and smoked pork but for pulled pork sandwiches with a full aray of barbecue sauces. needless to say the 20+ people there used a little more gas on the way home.

    PS Facebook has done wonders for our family. it was the first time in probably 10 years that all of us were together for anything outside of a wedding.
