Are you talking about the points in front or the bottom edge? the points in front are sharper than normal, but that's intentional. Why something custom unless it isn't available? THe bottom edge is just as smooth and round as the stock edge.

This is a crosspost, but here's my custom oakley aviator visor - shaped with a dremel

Isn't hockey boss Aspen's online store? You must live near me.
-
They sold you a bag?! I always thought that was like the only thing you couldn't ask for since it was earned through the hard work of making it to the NHL.

gah... the worst part is that I had my mouse on the quick bid button but I f'ed up and clicked outside the popup box. By the time I recoverd (like two seconds later), it was too late. They even had the white felt 703 tongues and profiled runners just like I wanted

Savemefromtears... did you happen to snipe those on ebay for under 200? I was bidding on a pair just like that, won it, then the guy cancelled the auction because I needed a couple days to pay him. When it was relisted i had the money but I lost the auction with like three seconds left.

Hahaha

Nice haul!... I'm only a couple pieces away from a full set of blackhawks home.

Here are the pants that I mentioned earlier. Contacted TBLfan outside of MSH and bought them for about 160 shipped. They're the older canadian made tacklas that (now the eagle ppf IIRC). Honestly, these are tied with my eagle ppf gloves for most comfortable piece of equiptment I own. Also, they're way more protective than my one95 girdle. The only change I would make is to get an XL lower to match the Large upper just because I'm so tall and narrow. And here they are with some pro stock practice socks that I got off of ebay for 10 dollars shipped. They're covered in mysterious blue stains, but they're functional.

That widow is weird... might be some kind of tester or display stick.
-
Nothing to show off yet, but I ordered some lightning pro stock pants from tblfan yesterday

^^^hahaha I wish there was a like button on MSH. Funny comment

Both these gloves are sweet. I'm a sucker for the blackhawks colors though. Those luxe's look unreal... personally I wouldn't wear them until christmas every year, but the fit and modifications make it look like a ompletely different glove. I'm planning on having the cuffs on my gloves shortened like these.

second pair of classic-themed skates in the last week.... where are you guys finding these?
-
Hahaha the classic bubble.... looks sweet on the 4500
-
Best looking skates I've ever seen!
-
Thank you very much.... just the standard eagle navy/white though.

No.... my pro stock widow broke last week :( and now I'm using an old Easton ST. However both were non-grip. I can't afford a new stick on my part time job, so I think that I'm either gonna learn how to shoot without grip or sell some of the stuff I don't need.

New Eagle PPF's i got during the black friday/cyber monday sale on hockeymonkey.... only about $75 shipped. I should've really gottena pair of PPF+, but at that price I couldn't pass them up. I think i'm gonna have the cuff shortened at some point. I've used them twice so far.... since they're a little bit tight for now, I'm gonna keep using my pros stock 9k's for games, but I swear that nothing I've ever worn has felt better than MSH2 palms. Comfy as hell, but for some reason, the shaft of stick rotates when I shoot when I wear these. Of course, it might just be because my pro stocks have enormous holes in both palms.

Shorts look great! Two piece? What Size? Details!!!

Did I get the angles you were hoping for?

As far as I know, there isn't a big jump in quality between retail and pro stock as far as protective equipment goes... and I know that there is definitely a demand for this style of elbow out there. I am no stranger to pro stock gear. EDIT: Did some homework and seems like the only difference between retail and pro stock is the liner inside the pad. Pro stock uses a soft-felt type material over foam while the retail uses poly mesh over like a ridged rubber material. Personally I'd rather have the ridged rubber, but you're right. The collectible factor is way lower and 100 dollars is probably way too much to ask for. Still comfy as hell without a doubt though, so win-win. Look like I'll be wearing these from now on.

Haha.. yup. And I have some pics of my lastest LHS clearance-bin-find to go with the pics of the jersey!!! Here are the pics of the yoke you asked for: I was in a rush to get my skates sharpened before practice, since my coach moved it up an hour at about 6pm (the revised practice started at 7). While I was waiting I figured I'd have a look through the clearance bin just to see what was there. This pro shop is a tiny outfit that only stocks about five pairs of gloves, twenty sticks (all easton s19's), and some low-end skates. I found these at the bottom of a storage container marked "pants" filled with some junior sized, no-name pants that were SMU for the local youth team. They were marked with a sale price of $75 dollars. I took them up to the counter as I picked up my skates and asked why they were so expensive since they were "just elbow pads". The guy gave them to me for 25 dollars flat, no tax. These are the jofa-made, Rbk-marked elbows that the pros wear if I'm not mistaken. These are a size XL, which are just big enough to be uncomfortably large on me, so I'm planning on selling them if I can get over 100 dollars for them on ebay or the marketplace. If not, I'll just break them in and wear them for the remainder of my life as they are the most comfortable elbows that I've ever worn. What does everybody think?

Woaahhh... easton helmet looks sick
