  4. Hey Guys, This is my first post here, so please let me know if anything I've written can be found elsewhere. I was looking for a pro stock pair of hockey pants, but i dont have the ability to try them on, so i am relying on your guys advice for sizing and which model. I am searching for a tapered fit pant, but i am always running into sizing issues. I am 6'1 and 175 with a 32 waist. The problem I am always running into is length with adequate sizing at the waist. I know that they make extensions, but what i have noticed with the extensions is that it drops the entirety of the pants and it feels like it does quite fit right on the hips. I tried out a pair of X900 Medium with the 1 inch extension, but the interlock waist system felt so awkward. I am currently in a pair of CCM QLT Large, but they feel big all over except for length. What pro stock pants would you guys recommend? I have have been looking at nexus (i know that they have a wider fit, but i saw they made a "tall" version), vapor pants, warrior covert or hustler, hp30, hp45, hp UCLX. Would you recommend a Medium with +1 (does the +1 mean the legs are extednded or you can drop an inch at the waist) or maybe Large? I am not too familiar with the different model numbers with CCM and the HPs. I was thinking about these: https://sidelineswap.com/gear/hockey/pants/314705-bauer-dallas-stars-pro-stock-vapor-pant Thanks in advance!
  5. Pictures: https://imgur.com/a/3qNuB and https://sidelineswap...eahockeysupply Will discount if selling them direct since other websites charge fees. Ordered these for myself but ended up getting a pair of True skates. They have never baked or used. Size 7D, size A heel. Brand new unsharpened CCM Black Steel and CCM medium arch custom insoles included. Extra reinforcement added to inside ankle and tongue for extra protection from blocking shots. True one-piece, MonoFrame 360 composite boot eliminates the need for an outsole. Seamless platform for aggressive energy transfer since they do not require the outsole, nails, glue and other materials that traditional skates are built with. The increased contact area between the foot and the skate for better feel, more control and of course more power. Lastly, the outsole-less design enables the bottom of the boot to heat mold to all sorts of unique foot shapes for a truly customized, 360-degree fit. Featherlight one-piece boot showcases the most anatomically correct fit from a CCM skate to date. This is evident throughout the boot shape, especially around the ankle bones, under the arch and across the forefoot. Super Tacks skates truly cup a players foot from underneath, on top, and on the sides. This sensation is even more apparent after the skates are heat molded too! Pro-level comfort and protection. Triple-layered Tri-Tech tongue and Total-Dri Liner. * One-piece MonoFrame 360 Carbon Composite boot * Composite Reinforced T-Form Core * Total-Dri Liner with DuraZone Abrasion Patches * Tri-Tech Thick White Felt with injected HDPE foam reinforcement * 263 holder * CCM SB Black steel runners * CCM SB +4.0 holders - Skates can be shipped sharpened if requested. Please make sure to specify the ROH you would like. - If you would like the steel profiled I have access to a Pro Sharp machine and will profile the skates for no extra cost. - I also sell Tydan steel, please add $45 if you would like Tydan steel added to the order. This will also be profiled and sharpened free of cost if requested. No trades. No swaps. Keywords: Bauer Vapor Supreme Nexus JetSpeed FT1 Easton Mako 1x 1s 1n
  6. I'm hearing the pro stock Warrior Covert QRL pants might run larger, but I'm also hearing they actually might fit smaller than the retail. At 5'9" 155-160lbs... 32" waist 30" inseam. Anyone have any recent experience with this pro stock model? Opinion on whether I ought to go medium, or small, or small +1, perhaps, in these pants? Cheers.
  7. Has anyone used HockeyStickMan.com, and if so, how was your experience? I came across the site, and it looks like they have some great deals on pro stock sticks, shafts, and blades (including some unbranded stuff). But I've never heard of the site before or encountered anyone who's used it, so I'm a bit wary... Any input would be much appreciated!
  8. These were Dany Heatley pro stock Jofa shoulders, purchased from a Sharks sale. I removed the large plastic shoulder caps (kept thick foam) to give better mobility and make them appropriate for beer league. I've got another pair and don't use these, so maybe someone could. They are used but clean (no smell), Velcro good, elastic straps have lost some stretch, excellent mobility and great protection where you need it. Solid plastic spine protection down the back. I would say these would fit a 40-46 chest. $20 plus $10 shipping (if shipping less, will refund)
  9. 14" Loops, liners intact Palms in great condition $80 shipped US, negotiate to Canada
  10. Brand new in box, with tags, never used. CCM RESISTANCE 100 PRO STOCK HELMET, NAVY BLUE, LABELED SIZE MEDIUM. This helmet is labeled medium, but I have a 59cm head and it is too small. $45 plus $10 shipping (will refund difference if shipping is less)
  11. Like new. Used a couple times. Come with box. selling because they are too large and I had to buy smaller skates. Video below shows the skate condition to be like new. CCM recently changed to a more anatomical and ergonomic fitment in their skates. These fit similar to a Bauer Supreme or Vapor. Very low volume boot that is formfitting. Asking $400 OBO. Shipping from Seattle, WA. Willing to also consider trades for store credit or hockey sticks. Video showing the skates and their condition The CCM JetSpeed Ice Hockey Skates are the top of the line model in the exciting and innovative JetSpeed Line. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION In the air, the Lockheed Blackbird holds the record for being the fastest jet at 2,193 mph. On the ground, the jet-powered Thrust Car holds the land speed record at 763 mph. On the ice, the all-new CCM Jetspeed Ice Skates are designed to bring you the fastest and best fitting skates in the game. Like the record holders above, CCM engineered the Jetspeeds ergonomically, literally building them around the players foot to maximize speed. With ergonomic curves in key areas of the skate, like the high-ankle, heel, and forefoot, the new boot design is contoured to eliminate wasted space, improve heel lock, and maximize energy transfer with each stride. The lightweight composite midsole increases blade to boot support, while the ultralight carbon force with a full exhaust outsole provides perfect balance of stiffness in the power channel for superior transfer of energy to the blade. Rounding out the construction of the Jetspeeds are the Speedblade 4.0 holders and the SpeedBlade Hyper-Glide runners. The holders are designed to increase your attack angle, providing greater strides and sharper cornering while the runners work in unison to provide superior speed and glide to enhance performance. When it comes to protection the Jetspeeds are no stranger, and when it comes to comfort CCM provided you with the utmost, all around. Additionally, the Jetspeeds join forces of both comfort and protection in the places you need it most. The newest feature, the JetProtect Tongue, is designed with multi layer construction for enhanced lace bite protection while ensuring maximum comfort. On the inside, a dual zone soft touch liner is enhanced with SuperDry and Durazone abrasion patches providing you with the luxury of a dry, protected, and fully supporting skate. On top of that, or inside rather, the liner is equipped with a Multi Density memory foam and symmetrical foam comfort pad that both conform to your ankle bone allowing for protection, comfort, and most of all a personalized fit. Adding to personalization and most of all, comfort, the Jetspeeds sport another new feature, the Heat Moldable Speedcore 2 Plus which optimizes a contour shape with heat moldable technology that allows customized support specifically for your unique foot shape. Lastly, the footbeds of the Jetspeeds are CCM Custom Support Footbeds, meaning you can mold this to your exact specifications so you are comfortable game in and game out. CCM has proven once again that they’re not out of the skate game, but rather very much alive in the world of speed, comfort, and providing you the equipment you need to break records on the ice.

  14. For sale a Rocco Grimaldi True A5.2 sbp stick, RH, P88, 75Flex. I used it for warm ups and immediately realized the lie was completely wrong for me (far too low). I purchased it this past weekend at TSR's tent sale for $100 so I'd like to get that back, but feel free to make an offer. Shipping within NA is on me. If sold outside of NA I will contribute $20 towards the cost of shipping, the rest is on the buyer. Stick is pristene, not a mark on it. I literally took three shots with it. It was cut down about 1/2 - 3/4 of an inch.

  21. I just purchased an Easton shaft off of eBay. The description stated Easton S15 tapered shaft. Now I thought the S15 shaft was the continuation of the Z Bubble. I received the shaft today and correctly it is a tapered shaft but what wasn't in the description is that it was a Brendan Morrison pro stock from the Dallas Stars. I think its really cool and can't wait to get to the rink to try it but my question is, could this be a Se16 repaint or a modified Z Bubble? Is there any way to tell?

    WinnWell Pro Stock

A big thanks to Richard at WinnWell for these gloves. I have been using them exclusively since Winterfest back in December and I am well past the time for a review. If you are familiar with the original TPS R8 pro glove, then you already know all about this glove. It is made in the same factory, by the same workers as the original glove. Fit: 9/10 I have worn R8s in 14", but the 15" WinnWell is a better fit for me. I have slightly longer fingers than most people it seems, so the bigger size seems to work best for me. The gloves fit tight around the fingers and a little looser at the cuff, really the best of both worlds for me. The protection around your fingers stays in place while you still have plenty of room at the cuff for any stickhandling shenanigans you might want to attempt. Weight: 8/10 The gloves have dual density foam as well as plastic inserts, it isn't going to be feather light. That said, I really don't notice the weight of the gloves while playing. They move with me without restricting me in any way. A lot of people ask if I need that much protection playing in a beer league. Having a day job makes protection that much more important to me. I can't afford to go on the disabled list for a couple weeks to heal, so a more protective glove seems well worth the investment to me. Comfort: 10/10 These are my favorite gloves and not just because I happen to be reviewing them. I have been a big fan of this style for years and I am extremely happy with them. The nylon shell makes them very easy to break in, maybe a couple shifts until I got some sweat in them. While this really is a preference thing, these really fit my preferences. Mobility: 9/10 The longer cuff on the 15" model doesn't seem to restrict me in any way, deducting a point because I still can't play the piano and the gloves must somehow be at fault. Seriously though, the cuff is slightly longer than on the 14" model and the cuff is slightly longer than on some other gloves. They aren't restrictive in any way, but some people may think that the extra length is a negative. Protection: 10/10 Damn near bulletproof. I've blocked slappers and wrist shots, taken slashes to just about every part of the glove and never had an issue. Not even so much as a "stinger" while wearing these gloves. As I mentioned earlier, there are plastic inserts on top of the dual density padding. I like having the added layer and will gladly trade the minimal extra weight for the extra protection. The only glove I've ever used with more protection was a Sande Max pro, and those had thicker plastic inserts. There really are as good as it gets for protection. Durability: 8/10 I've been using these glove exclusively and the only visible damage is one small cut to the shell on one of the fingers and that came from being kicked by a skate. Yes, I said kicked and that's why I like the protection. The palms are holding up well, including the overlay on the palm. No issues with stitching or seams. They really are holding up quite well. Overall: 8/10 As much as I love the fit and feel of the gloves, I'm not a huge fan of the retro dot graphics. There are also a few aesthetic issues with excess material along seams, bit nothing that impacts the performance of the glove. I would strongly suggest them to anyone that likes that style of glove and even those folks that are open to trying new things and have never tried them. They're comfy, protective and should hold up well for any style of play.
