Painted Sticks

Anyone paint their sticks entirely before using them?

I've gotten into the habit of painting each of my sticks before using them to seal them up so they don't get too dried out (living in Alberta and all).

The thing is that I kind of like the look of it and I find it less distracting than graphics on a stick.

Anyone else do this?

Your talking wood I'm guessing? Personally I dont, but I did start spraying the bottom 1/3-1/4 of the stick black. I like having that painted much better then the chrome or orange or whatever color of sticks.

Reaper, i like to paint my woodsticks black, white or blue, even a mixture of blue and white(team colors). I think its less distracting aswell.
