Maybe it's just personal bias but Probie should have a better chance than any of the other first year guys. He was the ultimate enforcer of his generation. One that could play a regular shift and contribute while still wearing his gloves.

I could not agree more Chadd! I wish I had the oppurtunity to see him play in person. I don't understand how anyone could even think of dropping the gloves against him.

The voters need to give a qualifier to Cam that a cheap shot shortened his career. If you look at his career trend, you can easily see another 105 goals given he wasn't able to play more than 49 games in his last five years. That would equal 500 goals.

Besides which, he was among the first to be considered a power forward, not like the guys on my team who've lead the league in scoring and penalty minutes because they're constantly yelling at the refs, "WTF was that??!!"

a bit off topic, but do you guys think theo fleury will get into the hall?

Im biased because hes my favorite player of all time, but i think he achieved a lot in his career, espicially considering the obstacles hes overcome, and deserves a place there

If that was true a lot of guys in the HHOF would have to come out or never would have gone in. He's still under 500 goals and less than 1PPG over his career.

He's over a PPG and very close to 500 goals. I have mixed feelings with him, but figure theres a few guys in there who've done fairly bad things. I'd like to see a few of the Russians from the '72 series let in over the likes of Beniot Hogue.

My bad, I read the numbers backwards. 1084GP, 1088 PTS is correct.

On a related note, the 2008 HHOF inductions will be very interesting.
