If they fit there good, if they don't then be prepared for pain, and another pair of new skates in a month. $159 is less than dealer cost.

Make sure they fit. $160 is a decent price for these skate but don't blow the cash on skates for the price unless you know they fit you.

You won't even be in a junior skate anymore. The V-12s are generally a size smaller than your average skate. I've heard the vapors may be a 1/2 if pressed, so you'll be a 6EE and the width will be day and night.

Vapors are much more narrow than Nike skates.

XX will be MUCH narrower. A 5.5EE V12 will be more like a 6EEE XX and even then the overall fit will still be different.

It's wider than the D width, but different brand widths vary. Not everyones EE is the same width. A 5.5 skate is not the same for every company. Every foot if different. Width, length, depth and shape all play a factor and if you fit a V-12 perfect and XX will not fit you. No matter what the width is.

i thought since the same company makes them that they would be the same size wise

nope i wore a 5.5 in a xx so id wear a 5 in a nike. so if ur in a junior v-12 youd be for sure in a sr vapor XX.l youll find that with the nikes they are much wider and deeper in the forefoot even though some of there models have real tight heels. i.e the v-10 or flexlite 10 now
