If the RBK closely resembles the 590 as much as I think they do, they should be great. Those floaters are monsters and I heart the chest protection is top notch as well.

The Itech is a nice piece, I'm not familiar with the RBK. DR also has a nice pad in that price range.

I have to agree. I tried on the RBKs and IMHO, a very nice protective piece. The ITECHS are OK toob ut not up to par with the RBKs.

thanks guys. today i went in the LHS and tried on both the Koho 590 and RBK Pro protector. The RBK one was pretty nice. I will probably end up getting that one. The RBK pro one is probably just the new 590 model.
