Eagle Custom Pro gloves

Recommended Posts

I was at my local hockey store the other day(pure hockey in braintree, ma) and came across a sweet pair of eagle gloves. They are very similar to the World Cup model gloves, except they have split fingers and the cuff is basic. The gloves are really nice and retail for $200. The world cup gloves there are retailing for 139. The palms seem the same and the only thing different is the emroidery on the world cup versus split fingers. I am in the market for new gloves and if I can get 60 bucks off for a similar glove, I'll get the world cup gloves but my question is do split fingers really make a 60 dollar difference? my buddy ordered custom eagles and said split fingers were like a 15 dollar add in. thanks for any help in advance.

Custom pros have plastic inserts as well as the split fingers. Plus that price is very, very good on the world cup gloves. They cost more than X70s.

The new Custom Pro's we saw in Vegas had split fingers, plastic inserts, lock thumb, and a mustang palm. Pretty pricey, but sweet.

For that money though, I'd probably buy two pairs of something else.

I'd spring for the goat palm if I was going to spend that much on a glove. It's probably the only Eagle I would wear but damn, it's expensive.

Exactly my point. We would retail these for $210 US. How many other gloves would you find that are just as nice for cheaper? HGT's are in the $99-109 area. RBK? Bauer? Mission?

Just too many good products out there to pay $200+ for gloves.
