new skates

I am in the market for new skates, i am currently in the nike pro stk, but i am looking at buying the bauer 8000's. they are going on sale at my local shop and i am wondering what you guys think of the durability of the skates, im not worried about wieght at all, i just dont want the skates to break down within one season of play. 3-5 times a week.

how much do you plan on spending on new ones?

the 8000's are great skates, but depending on how much they cost, u may find better for the price

in my opinion the bauer 8000's are one of the most durable skates on the market. Quite possibly the most durable. They are a great skate.

I'd second the motion on the 8000. I sell a ton of those at the shop and everyone loves them. They are second on the Supreme list after the 8090 and they have a unique fit like the whole Supreme line. If the Pro STK's aren't at your LHS I suggest getting the 8000, you will need the help getting fitted and supporting your local shop is always a good thing. They should offer 1 Free baking, free sharpening(s), and free hardware.
