Eagle Gloves

Recommended Posts

Hi i'm new in the forum, i'm from Argentina, i'm looking to buy a pair of eagle gloves but i'm not sure about what size should i buy.

Currently i'm using a pair of mission icon (3 fingers) size 14". They are too big for me, i couldn't take my stick from the floor without taking the glove off.

I don't know what size buy, i think i should buy a 13 1/2".

My height is 6'1" or 6'2" (184cm). I'm not so big, my weight is 73Kg.

Please, i will apreciate any help.

Thanks

Alejon, I don't really know exactly how Eagles are sized, but it seems surprising that 14" gloves are too large for you. Generally, 13" gloves fit hands that are considered "small", yet at over 6'1" and 160 pounds I would think your hands are at least "medium" which are generally size 14".

I don't know, everytime i use one of the charts in the hockey store's pages, they tell me that i should buy a 14", but i don't have big hands. From my wrist to the end of my fingers, there are 19cm.

I've tried a mission D2, size 13" that one friend have, and they fit good, there is no free space, but it's comfortable.

Any suggestion?

Why not get a pair of the Missions that you've tried on, or a similar cut? I believe the M-1 is a similar cut if you're looking for a step up? Eagles are nice and all but if you have no way to try them on, ordering the best glove in the world won't help if you can't get the fit right. Given your situation, I'd go with the sure thing since you're ordering from halfway around the world. Either that or order the 13" Eagles and be prepared to pay the return costs if it doesn't fit.

And by the way, if you try them on and 13" gloves fit you, 13" gloves fit you. You might be tall and seem like you fit 14's but like you said, you could have small hands. Whatever fits fits.

Your last option if you can get in touch with a patient hockey shop employee who wants to help you out is to get exact measurements all around your hand, finger lengths, palm width, palm length, palm girth, etc; and see if they can measure up. Not the greatest, and you still won't get a feel for the glove, but you're under a different set of circumstances.

Thanks Project824, what you've said is true, i know that i should buy a glove that i can try, but like almost 4 years i want to buy a pair of eagle gloves, and now that i have the money, i think that i should buy me this gift, the thing is not to buy a pair of gloves and then when they arrived to argentina see that the glove won't fit me.

Thanks for all, everything that you tell me is great help for me.

If you really want Eagles, the X70i is the correct size.

I'm guessing that MIAsports tried to sell their glove, and a mod put that, or MIAsports wrote that and I'm completely lost.

While all of our manufacturers believe in the products they sell, they sometimes go too far in promoting their products.

I am sorry for offeding any modsquaders.

I was under the impression that my reply was more of a sales pitch for eagle then my company. I was only trying to help alejon9 with his problem.

I wish that you would of just edited out the part about our services and left the part about the eagle sizing intact.

Sorry once again I will restrain myself in the future
