Hockey positioning - all positions

A friend of mine is getting started in hockey and instead of me trying to explain the jobs of a Center, LW, RW, Defenseman, etc. to him, I was wondering if anyone knows of any good sites online or books that explain it.

Any help would be mucho appreciated!

Offensive Strategy:

Offensive Strategy

As you're skating through the neutral zone, try to keep one of the

forwards in each "lane" of the ice. These forwards should not be in a

straight line -- they should be at different depths. For example ...

Always keep one person high in the opposition's zone. If the puck is

turned over, this person is in a better position for backchecking.

Maintain a triangle between the three forwards as you attack in the
