Sghockey21 1 Report post Posted July 12, 2005 Tours have a wide boot but pretty narrow toe cap. I like the CCM PFs better.
Jim A 4 Report post Posted July 12, 2005 Mission EE width is pretty roomy..and i've used the bauer 2090 and 3090 the past 2 years with great results...
mickz 107 Report post Posted July 12, 2005 I always skate on Mission now. I have D width but I find the fit a bit tight if you wear them for too long. E or EE width would be better.
MIGHTYJOHN 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2005 I have a EE/EEE foot & I've tried Missions in an E width & it still was not WIDE enough I have an odd shape to My feet they are widest in the middle & currently have a Bauer 6000 EE mounted on My frame & they are not wide enough
Jackymc 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2005 I have wide feet, I tried on bauers, missions and tours in thier E widths none of them were as wide as the CCM Es. My Inlines are PF8s and for my next pair of ice skates I'm gonna look into CCM Vectors.
Eazy_b97 1 Report post Posted July 12, 2005 Convert a pair of ice boots that you like. The in-line world may not offer a wide enough selection
MIGHTYJOHN 0 Report post Posted July 12, 2005 I open to doing that with the frame I have.... as I said I skate on a EE Bauer 6000 converted as right now but...it is still not shaped right
Eazy_b97 1 Report post Posted July 12, 2005 Bauers are one of the narrowest skates on the market. Look at the V12 skates, Graf 705/709, Try some CCM Tacks and possibly Eastons.
Jim A 4 Report post Posted July 12, 2005 I think it depends on the model, and volume for most people..i have wide feet and skate Bauer EE typically with no issues..but find skates with a lot of volume..i'm never going to be comfortable in a vapor xxx because of it..but a supreme, which is my pref, fits well....and the xx90 series..ie 8090 on ice and 2090 and 3090 on inline have a ton of volume..enough so that i went down a half size in the skate..the first time in nearly 20 years my size has changed in that company..also haven't found the Nike stuff to be narrow as I skated an Hi Ho in an EE very comfortably and they are known to have wide toecaps.. Jason Harris 31 Report post Posted July 12, 2005 Our F1's run wide, but they're not rollerhockey skates; you'd have to switch out the holders.
Jackymc 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2005 Are the Tacks wider than vectors? I tried on the vectors and said "good enuf".. I never really considered using ice boot either.
