Easton SBX Skates

Recommended Posts

I searched and didn't find anything on these. Has anyone had any experience with these skates? They look somewhat similar to the Mission S400s. Just looking for opinions on them - the Air versions to be specific. Thanks.

The Easton SBX model of skate is a Soft boot construction. Which means that they wont be as stiff as other models of skates out there right now. Also I think that They have some of the Supple Fit technology in them too.

We have TONS of these left over from last year. The Ultra lite and Air SBX models. The boot is not stiff at all which is a big turn off for many people. The fit and comfort of the skates is the sellin point of these skates. The kangaroo grain is the most comfortable skate I've ever put my foot into. It's "fatter" liner makes for a soft and cushioning feel for your foot. The are very unique but they have a very unstiff boot.

No they don't. I thought they were a bit heavy and clunky when I tried them on a couple years ago.

Wish me luck, I just ordered them. I've had Easton skates before, all roller, so I'll give these a shot. You can't beat the price and they seem similar in the concept of Mission's supple fit.

Think Graf, not supplefit.

can you further explaine the support? "graf"?

It's a vertical boot, not offset like a Mission S series. It's also a softer material that has support but is not super-stiff in the ankle. It ends up being similar in some aspects, but not the most important part of the Mission supplefit concept of fitting closer to the foot.
