SMU skate for source for sport ?

Recommended Posts

Well i did go see a Souce for sports and they had Kor skate(weird but nice!) Synergy 777 and 555 and Nike Appolo.

But i found the Synergy 777 pretty nice for the money(300cnd).

Any body have information about these 2 skate??(Synergy777 and Nike Appolo) or impression...

P.S: I can't even find a website about them!!

I know Easton makes 750 SMU skates for $219.99 USD. They're a mix between the 900 and the 700 with LPS2 steel instead of parabollic steel. As for the nike I've not heard of anything of that nature for a skate. The Kor skates are a vague skate. We know they're composite like synergy with PITCH blade and steel. But I think only a couple of people have tried them, I don't know any more info on them sorry.

I just bought a pair of Kor's last week. I have to work out a pressure point at the widest part of my foot but since they can be baked it shouldn't be a problem. They're a fairly low cut skate but stiff around the foot. I never even bothered to lace up the top couple of eyelets, but one of the guys who bought a pair from me laces them all the way up and likes them. If they are loose at all they seem to create blisters for the guys wearing them. I haven't had that problem at all.

Let me know if you have specific questions, I'll post more info on them later.

i held them at my lhs the other day, they look unreal comofrtable inside, but they didnt seem stiff at all, even being composite.

The ankles aren't overly stiff and they're not restrictive. The area around the foot is still very stiff.

the 777 i find isnt that well constructed visually and the 555 is very low end. the appollo has always been a good solid boot in my eyes. nice liner, well made, great holder

Well i don't know much about the Synergy...but i thougth the 777 wasnt that bad with a composite outsole... i know the 555 are pretty bad....

But the Appolo is like the older model (V series)but not so light...and i really like composite outsole(for me a skate without a composite outsole...mean cheap lol!!!)beside this they look not bad!!!

As for the Kor they are way too expensive for me(650+tax),and they seem really low profile boot ,I'M wondering how this low boot feel on ice!anyways i just whanted to let you that Kor are beeing ship now!

I'm glad I only had to pay dealer cost on them, and that was still pretty expensive. We're charging $475 for them and we only got one run of senior sizes and a couple extras.

I've skated in them laced all the way up, down an eyelet and down two eyelets and had no problems with any of them. There's still a little bit of a pressure point at the widest part of my foot so I haven't gone all out in them. They honestly feel like a stiffer Mission skate to me.
