Myrtle Beach

Recommended Posts

I`m leaving for Mrytle Beach on Friday and I was wondering if anyone whos been there or lives near there knows any good resteraunts, teen hangouts, all ages clubs or just any tips that will make my stay more enjoyable.

Also, does anyone know if they sell "Oh's" the cereal at the Walmart in Mrytle Beach or Washington. Thanks.

Chris

If you're looking for a challenging golf course, and wouldn't mind the drive, St. James Plantation offers some very difficult but fun courses. It's right in Southern North Carolina, by Bald Head Island. We own property there, and it's one of the most beautiful communities I've ever seen, and the golf is great too! Check it out if you get the chance.

Oh, maybe you shouldn;t drive up there after all....forgot that it's a members only course... If you do ever get the chance though, go for it.

Im there all the time, my grandparents live there.....Id suggest a bunch of places..... Broadway at the beach (Huge strip mall with 50 restaraunts...its outside too and really nice)....Texas Roadhouse if you like steaks, and Yamato's if you like Japanese cause that place easily kicks all other Japanese foods places asses....Landrys is good for seafood....So is Joes Crab Shack (all the listed restaraunts are located at Broadway at the Beach.... If you want to go to a theme park go to the "Pavillion:, its a lot of fun......

If you have anyother questions feel free to PM me....Ive been going there 2x-3x a year since I was 3

Myrtle Beach is a trashy hellhole. It really sucks. Tons of tourist, most of them bubbas driving chevy trucks. Make sure you go to dinner early or you'll end up waiting forever and getting stuck in traffic....and next time go to Hilton Head Island, much more upscale and with less bubbas.

I can see Texas Roadhouse, but Landrys is overpriced and not really that good. Joe's Crab Shack is even worse quality than Landrys and cost about the same. Then again most of the places are overpriced and touristy. You'd be better off asking the hotel guy where he likes to go for seafood or drive a little out of your way to find places off the beaten path.
