Need help with a song.....

I heard a song over the weekend with the lyrics "Crimson and clover, over and over" in it, and I thought it was by Jimmy Eat World but when I did a search I couldn't find any evidence that it was them.

The original song "crimson and clover" was by Tommy James & The Shondells, and a remake was done in the 80's by Joan Jett. The version I heard was not those versions. This was definitely something newer - probably made around 2002 or so.

If anyone knows what I'm talking about and could help me out, that would be splendid. :)

Fletch, I'm not sure whether you had searched this way, but whenever I hear a song on the radio and don't know who it is, I'll do a search of "THESE WORDS" + "lyrics."

It's usually successful. Unless, of course, that I'm listening to an Oldies station and none of the kids have taken the time to add those lyrics to the site. :lol:

thats a great song. does anyone have a thing where every song they hear during some period of time you feal liek the same weird vibe you did when you listened to it? i moved an hour away from where i had lived for 6 years and it was horrible and i had the strangest vibe. now all the songs i listened to while i had that weird vibe give me....a weird vibe. aaanyways ,praise chorus was one of those songs

Hehe...I was trying "crimson and clover+cover" and "crimson and clover+remake" but couldn't find anything. When I tried your way I was able to come up with it. I'll make sure to try your way in the future. :)

That's true the pop ups and ads on that site are off the wall. I'm sure there is lots of spyware floating around on that site now that I think about it. <_<

It's actually not Jim Adkins who says Crimson and Clover in that song. Its the frontman of either Texas is the Reason or Braid (can't remember right now) and he was doing a tribute to someone. Although it is indeed by JEW
