search, I know Dexy had a few topics on it. Basically lighter, a few different materials, same fit.

The G5's have better padding. They also are made of the Tectile material which Graf claims is more durable then their usual materials, although my friend's 705's (he has G5's now and loves them) still look great even though he had them for like 3 years. The fit is very similar. I'd say go with the G5's just because the padding is much nicer.

The G series have always seemed sketchy to me. I've heard of countless problems from people of the graphite outsole seperating and cracking, but I don't know if this has been fixed or not. Another thing that always bothered me about them is how the outsole isn't contoured around the boot...instead it just sticks right out on the sides past the boot. Kind of odd in my opinion.

I've seen and heard of a few problems with the G series also. I'd stick with the 70) series personally...
