Dont quit hockey, take a year off ,and try again next year. Just work out every day and try to go to Stick and Puck at you Local Rink. Quitting is the worst thing you could do,if you love the sport.

to be honest i think that it may be more of a mental thing. keep skating as much as you can, ALOT of teams leave a few roster spots open if they aren't satisfied with the players that show up at tryouts. Most teams would rather leave their options open than sign players they dont believe in. You may end up getting invited to a practice or two with some teams and get back into hockey. its hard to have to use new skates for important tryouts, but when your feet are growing theres nothing you can do i guess

Do you thinks guys there a way to get a 9D in exchange my skates..??

Damn that piss me off...i dont have the money to buy another pair of skates! in 1 month!

I feel like i have too much loose in my skate when not lacing the top eyelet....and now when lacing the top eyelet...i just don't feel good skating backward...and crooser are not better too...

There are places online that still have the 1152 and the stores around here (Dallas) have them too (saw Perani's had them on sale not that long ago for $250 new, but I think marked them back up to $300~ish once the sale was done).

I have a used pair of CCM 1152 9D's and am loosely considering getting a new pair of skates as the toe box has become too narrow on my 1152's.

If interested in buying a used pair, and if I go the new route, I could probably sell them to you cheap (again, only if interested - otherwise I'll either keep them as a back up or sell them to play it again sports).

PM me if interested (or, just PM me if you have questions about CCM's in general - I've always worn CCM's with exception to 3 months in a Bauer 7000 that I couldn't get used to as the toe box was too painful).

its much different in quebec, u need to stay within your region otherwise you need to get a release which takes forever. I didnt play AA sicne pee wees and went to prep school (midget AAA equivalent in quebec) and now in college. Your young things will change around.

and i dont know a more politcs based region than verdun/lasalle

Hey thanks Ogie for your offer...but i just got from the store...they only had 9D 1152...which was too big for me...but i wished i could bought a pair...the pefect size for me would be 8.5E...but they only had 852 2004 8E for 250cnd!

So i picked a pair of 8E 852 2004... What do you think(or you guys) about the 2004 Tacks lines??is it the same as the 2003?(my 1152)

that AAA pee wee team had to be summer otherwise it dont exist in quebec. we dont even have bantam AAA, all messed up. in quebec, id say 98% of guys play midgets then jrs, as opposed to the rest of canada where most guys just skip midgets.

if you are cut from a team then they should no longer have your rights? toronto's league is based on a two-year contract as well, but if they cut you the contract ends...unless they are keeping you on the roster but refusing to let you play. maybe im misunderstanding the whole issue though
