I'm surprised the white bench didn't clear. After being taunted a few times, then seeinga few more cheap shots. Apperantly there's basically designated scorers and then fighters in that league, and the fighters aren't supposed to touch the scorers (see the white guy running away "shooing" off the red guy near the end). The one thing that would really bother me playing, is they weren't really "fights" theres a few instances where guys are fighting from the ground and such to stay alive because the other guy is still hammering on them, which I don't see very much in hockey fights.

Right at the faceoff #23 two hands some guy in the ankles and starts cross checking him in the head after he's down. Thats pretty low/cheap if you ask me <_<

if that happened in the NHL i doubt we would be seeing any of the players involved for a long time. If Bertuzzi's suspension was 18 months or something imagine what some of those players would get

That is a shame to hockey. I am sorry but fighting is not part of the game of hockey, thats why there is a penalty for it. Now I understand if you get cheap shotted and go toe-to-toe with the guy who did it but Im sick of the enforcers who fight for everyone else. Fight for yourself or leave unless it is a case of serious injury which you cant fight for yourself. And that black team is a shame to hockey. Sucker punches left right and centre and then chasing guys across the rink once the fight is done and finally calling the other team chickens cause they actually have talent besides fighting. Try boxing if fighting is all you want but dont embarass our sport because to be honest I am sure hockey is known my bost Americans as the sport where everyone fights but its not true and if they saw the true finesse of the game they might be more turned on and sure everyonce and a while you need a nice clean honest fight but none of that bs.

You've never been to a game? I watched the DVD with the Laval Chiefs and I have to say, I would buy tickets o one of those games. The fans are so passionate

I've played in the rink where the Chiefs play. That rink is brutal... On the other hand, I've played at the Verdun Auditorium (where the Dragons play) since I was 9 and I love the place, pretty much a minor league caliber rink if you dicount the lack of seating.

The commentators on the vid are such jackasses, they're annoyed at the fact that the ref wouldn't let a players keep going at another guy, who was already down on the ice.

I did...my cousin played for the laval chief...he playe din the NHL too...Michel Mongeau...but he was too small to play in the NHL h eplayed something around 50 game in 3 season with the blues...

and now he quit because it a too weak league...

By the way... i had a VIP ticket(all season) for one of the team where i live( les dragons de verdun) mostly all the team i sell the ticket...

I can rememeber goin to a panthers game in Florida a couple years ago, and all the fans there just wanted the players to fight. They didn't care about anything else but fighting...I guess the fans in that league are like that too.
