Do you goto a local gym? or just workout at home? Because i know if you went to a gym, if you ask some of the trainers there about hockey fitness they would sure be able to help you.

Always get a program personalized for you, not a generic one that may not be right for your needs.

If you are high school aged, I would agree, a personalized program is the best. This is because every player has his own strengths and weaknesses, and by human nature we usually work on our strengths and avoid admitting our weaknesses. A trainier will find that small muscle in your shoulder that you are babying, that is screwing up your slapshot!
