so i bought one of these.. for my own amusement

it felt ok, its pretty light weight, and decent performance, but not very durable for something they claim is Xtra Durable..

toe split after 1 game and 2 rounds of shinny, shaft was still perfect.

lucky the store took it back and i bought something else

on thing i did notice in the shaft, is that the walls were very thin, thinner than most..

but the corners of the shaft were "beefed" up. similar to the montreal nitro one-pieces.. but not as extreme

My brother got one for free in a Drury pattern, end up breaking it after 2weeks and a half.

Ponty, why slippery, they have a good grip on the shaft. I actually like the grip a lot.

Maybe we are thinking of two different sticks?

yep, or maybe they are doing one without grip,

Golf puck, right in the hosel(like if it was 2 piece, it has broken there). Ask me questions if you don't understand.

i was at sportcheck tonight and got a look at these sticks. they feel pritty thin, and they are quite slippery, i did feel pritty well balanced.

did they have grip?

I actually find that the stick is blade heavy.

i do find it heavy...starting at the middle of the shaft it felt pretty heavy fo rme...but for 100 that what you get...

I never really looked at Sher-wood because curve selection is poor...very good compagny(and they are based in quebec) but damn curve selection is poor!

By the way, i saw at 89$ Powertek sniper 420gr...i really think powertek are THE ONE in term of price/qualities!

Powertek, talk about a company who does not have much pattern, Sherwood are now having the Drury, sakic, lids, and a few others on the XD stick at least. The one my brother had was a Team pro stick so I don't know if it'S any different than the retail ones.

yea i know kovy..my mistake..EXCELLENT PRICE POINT STICK if you like sakic or modano pattern...but in both case..none of them have Iginla pattern!

normally at 100cnd you get what we call a price point at 520gr and more...not a SL 420gr OPS! with grip and not so bad graphics!!
