SLM Holders

I see topics about holders and pro skates that talk about those SLM and ICM holders on them.. I have a skate from who knows when that has SLM SL-2500s on them and the skate itself is crap. Just want to know how this SLM holder stacks up against the CCM Prolite 3s? Is SL-2500 their "Crap" version or did SLM only have 1 kind of holder?

I believe the SLM SL-2500 was the low end version, my old CCMs have SLM SL-5000s. I don't know the difference as they look the same, maybe the plastic or weight is different?

SL-2500 is carbon steel. SL-5000 or 6000 is stainless. Like ICMs, they're one-piece holders and blades.

so does anyone know how the SLM's feel in comparison to the Prolite 3's? these are mine afterall, just got my bro to post about em.

any opinions...ideas...etc?
