How do you record +/-?

Obviously, if you are out there for normal full strength play and someone on your team scores a goal, you get a +. The other team scores, you get a -.

But traditionally, if you are on the penalty kill, do you get a - if the other team scores, or does it only count at full strength? Also, by that reasoning, if you are on the penalty kill and your get a breakaway and score, do you get the + even if you are a man down?

Also, on the power play I assume you get scored normally since you are not a man down?

I found out the other day that my +3 on the PP doesn't count towards my +/- rating, so I would assume it doesnt count on the kill either.

I think it only counts on full strength.

if u are on pk and get scored on, ntohing, if u are on pp and pk scores, -1. if you are on pp and score, nothing. if you score on pk, +1
