Best non-custom mouthguard for breathing

Recommended Posts

I already searched, but I still need some opinions.

Okay, I have about a week and a half before roller tryouts start and I attempt my comeback to hockey after a 2 year retirement. I took my gear out of storage earlier this summer, except for my custom mouthguard, thinking that I didn't need it yet. I ended up getting a custom in the first place because I needed as easy a time as possible to breath in air, since I have asthma. Now, there's always a chance I might miraculously find it, but just in case, I'm going to get a backup. Which one of the mouthguards available are best for breathing? I was choking on my shockdoctors before, but maybe they've redesigned it since. Thanks in advance.

I prefer the XLR8 mouthguards and they have three sizes, the medium may work for you if the senior shock doc was too big.
