There is a new TPS pad coming out in October. It is the TPS Summit. I have not seen any pictures of anything, but my uncle is getting a set in his shop. They sent them out yesterday. So when we get them in there will be pictures...hopefully by next week. I'll keep you guys posted! the players do it with skates...i'll do it with pads!

Yeah I think Pascal Leclaire of the Colombus Blue Jackets may have a pair of those. They were TPS pads I did not recognize anyway.

The workmanship and engineering in this gear looks outstanding. The graphic's however leave a LOT to be desired. Like I said in that post, someone at TPS needs to be fired over those graphics. Louisville is gonna lose out yet again in the goalie market... :(

I don't think the graphics are that bad. They just went for a concept with the name/graphics.

Damn I guess someone beat me to it. Just get custom graphics then. If the pad is a good pad then who cares how it looks. Custom graphics or all one color and that pad would be sweet. The face of the pad reminds me of the velo's. But the internals look pretty good. I like the full calf wrap...very nice idea. I can still post pics of the ones that we get in my uncles shop. He said they are supposed to be all white. I think that should look pretty sick....

Took a while to get them in...they are white, silver, white. They look pretty sweet. I'm not going to be back in the shop until this weekend...so I'll have pictures on sunday night or monday sometime. They look sweet in that color scheme.

They just changed ownership and they have a lot going on right now. I believe Summit delivery is mid-late november

I hope not because didnt Brian Heaton own TPS ... any ways It will be cool if we can customize them on a new site... I'd like to see a Navy Blue weave on the middle ... like Rolosons Gold but in navy

We have two full sets for sale in our shop now. a 34" + 1" and a 32"+1". We ended up getting a pair that is the stock white blue and silver, but we also got a pair of white, silver, and white...they look sick

we had a pair in our shop special order the pads are pretty good looking. not bad for weight though just find the appearance pretty bulky. chatcher very nice and so is the blocker IMO. id chose the catcher and blocker and get the exceed pads to boot

What about an Epic compared to the Summit Blocker... I'll stick with my Bionic Glove ... Best piece of equipment I've ever bought is that glove!

for blockers in all honesty the epic is a really nice blocker because its very light but for comfort the 6000 legacy because of the glove in the blocker is alot nicer imo. the summit blocker felt too bulky

I don't know of Sogaduch(sp?) is a goalie but it all depends on what style you play. The Epic has a better balance and is good for a standup or hybrid goalie. The Summit is for a b-fly goalie because it has a ton of protection on the front and on the side. It is also very good for paddle down. When you pull your blocker into your side when going into your b-fly there is a nice blocking surface on the inside of your wrist. As for the summit pad being too bulky I was wondering if S-douche was looking at the same pair of pads. There are some features on the Summit that can be bulky, but those are the features that can be removed or adjusted. If you think the Exceeds are less bulky than the Summit then you must be drunk. The exceed has more bulk to it and it has the angled toe, which is sort of awkward if you ask me, but I don't want to throw personal opinion in on this. The exceeds don't have the adjustability that the Summits do, so you can basically make the summits as bulky or as not bulky as you want seeing as you can take the calf wrap and knee lifts out.

but what about weight comparrison... The Vapor Blockey is the lightest ive tried on but how do the summit vs epic compare in weight to each other
