Sweet stick

This morning at the junior bruins showcase in Marlbourough, MA my skates were pretty much done. So anyhow, the pure hockey down the road from NESC was closed until noon... and the guy at the NESC wouldn't do them.

Anyhow, our goalie uses the sweetstick, and I didn't have much of a choice, my skates being pretty dead. So I hit them with the sweetstick, and let me tell you, it really didn't make a difference. I could tell when I was stopping and stuff, but that was all, when I was turning and stuff my edges still sucked.

Morale of this story, don't use the sweet stick.
