How can you tell the difference between a 2004 and 2005 G Series Skate? I read there were problems with the early models and I was just wondering how to tell what I am purchasing.

You can't tell. It is the same skate. They improved the lamination process for 2005 (actually late 2004). The only way to tell is to ask the lhs when their skate order came in.

Riggo is right, there was some minor problems with the bonding of the composite outsole to the boot on their earlier boots. You can look at this and if you see small spaces or gaps between the parts it's probably an earlier model. The first ones almost always came with the Cobra Lite blade (the cut outs that sorta looked like shark teeth). By the way I have not heard or seen any delams on any generation G series skates.

you can tell the difference, the 04 G series cam with the perf blades where the 05/06 G series will have the non perf runner

...my warrantee replacement pair of G-35s were '05s: it seemed like they had some sort of re-enforcement along outside of the outsole under the footbed. Unfortunately, the re-enforcement did nothing, as the second pair fell apart faster than the first.
