Sock Lengths

I was hoping someone could help me out by confirming the correct length of player socks. I am making some new jerseys and saw some socks made from jersey material and it looked pretty cool (esp as the temperature rarelky drop below 10C). Now just need to make sure they are the correct length, I could measure peoples legs but I expect there is a standard size for Senior, Jnr and Yth socks, anyone out there can help?

Socks usually come in 20", 24", 26" and 28" or 30", depending on mfgr.

Make sure the material you're using stretches enough to be used as socks. We tried something similar but it didn't work as the material didn't have enough to enable us to get a full stride.
