C width skates

I'm looking at the CCM Tacks line skates (05 model) and i would need a C-width. According to CCM:s sizing chart the 992 Tacks, RBK 7 and 8K:s, Vectors 7.0 and Pro are available in a C width.

I've been in contact with probably 15-20 dealers in both Canada and the United States, and they all reply that CCM are unable to give an estimated delivery date for the C width skates.

Anyone who have some more info???

Id try calling the companies directly. They would be able to give you the best estimate.

As a matter of fact i did that. I've also emailed CCM several times, but they always tells me to contact a retailer...and they just cant get any estimated date for delivery....

I really dont know what to do...

I would need a size 10 C.

I gues i just have to wait and see, dont know what else to do...

Bye the way, are the RBK:s a wider midfoot compared to the Tacks line?

IM sent, the rbks are based more around the vector boot itself but i still find it abit wide in the forefoot but not as wide as the tack

The CCM memo on the RBK helmets was for the small size only, which has yet to be produced.. The med and lg ship as usual. I just think they did not get enough orders to manf the smalls, so they decided to canx rather than do a run.

Just go to you LHS and order a pair. The wait will likely be less than you think.

No, high end Vectors comes in a c width aswell.

I just got the RBK 9k's. I had been wearing 652's for about 3 years before that so I ordered the 9k's in the same "D" width.

When I got them the "D" width was to narrow. I had to get an "E".

I don't know if the new Tacks run narrower than the old ones or if RBK & Vector run narrower than the Tack line.

"C" is pretty narrow, I would say try the "D" width in the Vectors

I wouldn't say that for sure. Some people do claim the oposite, i.e. Vectors fit wider.
