You've tried them on? and dont kno where to get em ? were they 900's? nhl'ers get models that are way better than any retail. but if theyre the gloves i think ur probly talking about, custom order 900s from ur lhs, they should come out to be the canadian made (nhl ) version that many pros are wearing lately. i'm trying to work on my own order for some. there was thread about a couple guys who did this in the "buy" section a while ago , they posted pics too . try to find it
stevo8791 1 Report post Posted October 27, 2005 i just wish they made retails to the better standards like theyre pro gloves , theyd sell alot better i bet. iand heres the link to lots of info and pics from guys who have made the custom order from their lhs.http://www.modsquadhockey.com/index.php?sh...y%20gloves&st=

mm705 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2005 these are great gloves...saw em at pure hockey last weekend...as long as you dont want just black/white like i did they have the gloves for you
mack 44 Report post Posted October 27, 2005 If they're nylon, do you recall what colours/sizes they had? I left a message on the cust. service but haven't heard back. Damn do they have a lot of branches.
mm705 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2005 i remember a blue and white and a blue yellow...kinda thrashersy color scheme but im not sure if i remember correctly...if my i dont end up with my pro rbks in the next couple days i mgiht be forced to grab a pair if i can find em in black at purehockey. love the gloves tho excellent feel for the stick and puck with them...almost eliminate the need for grip the palms are so nice...and not some fake thing to add grip too just a really solid palm with excellent feel, real leather for a change if im not mistaken. best palm ive ever felt tho. not quite the mobility of eagles but as close as easton has ever come, just a great all around glove.that was in nashua by the way...may have better look with braintree or marlborough... mack 44 Report post Posted October 27, 2005 Links aren't working for me, damn. Do you remember any specific schemes? Looking for black, navy, or the USA (not just America) scheme.
duch 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2005 I just bought the Easton Snergy 900's and their awesome. I love the Smart Cuff and their lighter than the Reebok 8K's I wear for my pickup games. Also have a nicer feel to them. Easton makes awesome hockey pants and gloves but I still prefer Jofa for my shin, shoulder and elbow pads.
sikocycles 1 Report post Posted October 29, 2005 I just picked up a pair on ebay from the Flyers in the game worn section.
cds 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2005 Nice.......I held off getting those because they were a little big at 15''.

mack 44 Report post Posted November 5, 2005 I just got a pair for my brother that were supposedly made for someone that didn't pick them up. They were called Z-Airs, but cost $40 so I figured they'd be just normal stock Airs at best. I have to say I'm a bit in like with these and if they were big enough I'd have been tempted to keep them. Split fingers and not sure what the palm is, but it's nice. If the fugly "E" Eastons are this good I'd be willing to pick up a pair.
mm705 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2005 i just picked up a pair at pure hockey in nashua...plenty of assortment up there too...anyways the gloves are great i highly recommend them if you can get a hold of them.
mack 44 Report post Posted November 5, 2005 What'd they have at that one? Someone from a different store mailed me back and said they had Gopher and Wolverine colours and that was it. Those fugly things wouldn't have been worth the $100+.
Edge 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 I use those pro gloves in all black leather and just sold a pair in the the sell section...best gloves i've ever used. There's a pic of them in that thread posted earlier.
mack 44 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 Those would be an option for me as I hate that "E" logo but I'm not a fan of leather, which will just crush the ladies of the board, but hey. I have no clue what I ended up getting my brother and they look like a hodge-podge of custom and retail.
mm705 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 mack they had alot more than that...i got the last pair of black in 14inch at least...they get new ones in all the time tho i was there a week ago and they didnt have black but today they did. they also had usa, navy, navy and white, green, then they had gophers which didnt look that great but the michigan ones arent bad at all just navy with a gold e logo and the little dividers between the pieces of foam on the top are gold too. mack 44 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 All right, I'll try that store directly. These are the nylon ones with the fugly "E" logo rather than "Easton" right?
mm705 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2005 yep...they have easton written on them too but its small and on the side of the cuff, but they are the nylon prostock ones that i think youre looking for.
