Skate Sizing Width

Hi I'm looking at getting some new skates and was very interested in the bauer 8090 i think am ablout a 10,5 but i torn between a d or ee. Please let me know what your toughts are and if there are any little trick yone can do to detrimine this DOES BAUER MAKE A E width skate

Bauer has a E width only on custom orders. D and EE are the only width available retail. However, the 8 D 8090 = 8 EE in Vapor XXX. The last used to make the 8090 skate is different than the one used for the Vapor. A a result, if your feet measure, 10 1/2 E on the Bauer Brannock device (Bauer steel foot ruler), you should definitly go with the D width in the 8090 skate.

However, make sure the length is ok too. If you wear 10.5 in Bauer skates, you must be about 12 - 12.5 in shoes... unless you still grow up.

Matt you really need to try them on..as Jimmy said above, its an older last being used with a lot more volume than some of their current models...

I've used the 2090 and 3090 for roller and went down a half size..and sometimes think I could have gone even further..

I wear a 11.5 to 12 shoe i tried a 10 on but my toes where cramed in the front of the skate so i think that i'm a 10.5 my easton are 11 .
