This topic might be a better fit in the Ice section. Also, the reason we have so much on the Mission topic is because Justin and now Mikeo from Mission are big contributors to this site. They are always chipping in and getting info out, either through themselves or through some of the mods. Mission, and their guys on here, are very MSH Friendly. There aren't too many other manufacturers on here, and the ones that are, don't have such a proactive approach to contributing on this site.

As far as some 2006 ROLLER releases, not too much. I have seen some RBK stuff, as well as Nike, and obviously Tour Code series (which has been talked about alot).

But Mission has come out with a completely new 2006 line (girdles, pants, skates, sticks), as discussed in the other topic

Since most stuff is crossover anyway, most of the other equipment (pants, shins, gloves, sticks, etc) is discussed in the ice section. The Roller section is pretty much just for skates, bearings, and the odd roller hockey league here or there.

We've been holding meetings this weekend in Toronto and I'm really excited about what I've learned.

Many of you already know about the TF Evolution, which has been out in Europe but won't be in North America until late November. That's our only new stick, but our hybrid became much lighter, while the graphics on all the sticks are really sharp.

We're going to add a roll type glove with greater protection for elite level players.

I really like the design of the next year's tracksuit and, last, we're going to come out with a lower quality bag. That may sound funny, but the problem has been our bags have been too well constructed, which made them too expensive. :D

i saw a pic of your Boss, well owner/creator, Borje Salming using a TF Evolution in the Legends game in Toronto. His skates looked cool. I'm assuming they were Salming skates. Kinda looked Easton Zairish.

Yes, those are the F1's.

It's interesting, so many people are down on the T-Blades, but Borje loves the T-Blade system.

I reffed a game the other day and there were four kids with t'blades on one team. All four of them were blowing edges on every shift so I asked the one kid why he hasn't changed his blades as he was obviously having problems and he told me it was only his fourth game with them and they last at least 15 practices and games. The ice was very nice and smooth with no ships or ruts, that's the upside to having a game before an AHL team and not after.

I have a hard time understanding that. In the beginning, there is a transition -- similar to the transition that players make when they switch pitches -- but once they've adjusted their stride they shouldn't be blowing edges.

Some of the skates obviously weren't new, others might have been.
