Help Choosing A Skate

I need help in choosing skates. I want a skate that isn't so stiff around the ankles. I'm looking for mobility and trying to extend my stride. I'm considering the Mission s500, but I want to know if there are any other skates to consider, for example by Graf. I'm about 5'10, 170lbs. I've been playing for about 10 years. I've been skating on Vapor 15s for the past two years. Any suggestions on which skates to get would be appreciated! Everyone on this board is very knowledgeable.

The S400 is in the same price range as the XV that you have been using and is a nice skate as well. Grafs tend to be much stiffer when new and take a lot longer to break in. The 707 and 727 aren't as stiff as other Graf models but I wasn't very happy with my 727s.

id stick with a 700 series in graf like a 705 or 735 fit most feet generally. some people find them abit too stiff like chadd said others find them great off the bat, i know i broek in my grafs fairly easily but thats just me

From what you described i would definetly go with the s500 or as Chadd said maybe the s400. If you have the money i would go s500, Ive had both and the 500 is more durable and has better features.

Thanks everyone for your input. I think my next step is to try on the s500 and the 727.
