weird black blades

Recommended Posts

i was at play it again sports and they had some black carbon blades that didnt have a logo or name on them. the price tag claimed they were innovative blades but they didnt even have patterns marked on them. the weird thing about them is the part that goes into the shaft was really short, looked like it had been cut maybe and had two holes going vertically through it making it sort of hollow. they were tapered also and some felt heavy and some were light. are inno blades like that or were they some sort of rip off?

hmmm odd, they had a drury clone that i woudl like to try out but the part with glue on it was only like 1 1/2" long and eastons are about 3" long so i wonder if it would mess up the inside of your shaft somehow

the hosel is short as in they are indeed tapered but the part with the glue on it was about half as short as easton and every other company. unless i am misunderstanding you thats about the best i can put it.

I remember a lot of people blowing out the bottom of Easton ultralights and z-bubbles with Inno blades because the tenons were shorter.

if it's a Source for Sports store it's probably the "pro return" blades the shops get. I know we have a load of those and you just have to look for what curve you want and they're around $39.99 cdn and if you look on top of the hosel theres like foam covering the hole of the hosel

my winwell blades are like that 2 holes in the hosel. winnwell are inno cosmetic blems for the thg. most likely they are pro return seeing as the pros get blades w/out logos.

When Inno blades first started becoming available I remember a lot of people breaking their shafts very shortly after starting to use the Inno blades. The common thought at the time was that the short hosel and short tenon combined to cause the problems.

how long is the part with glue on your blades? these ones litterally looked like they had been cut with a hacksaw and were only and inch and a half long at most.
