Sharp and meloche got traded to chi for matt ellison and a 3rd pick. i never heard about this ellison, anyone got info on him?

I was suprised the Flyers got ride of Sharp. He seemed to play pretty well with Carter and for a 4th line player had a farly good scoring touch.

Just talked to Elly. He's pretty rattled cause he loved Chi town, loved the team. Said they were all so tight it was rediculous. Certain vets pissed on the road, guys pranking each other in the room etc.

Also, in Chicago he played 15-16 mins a game, with first line pp and pk. 12 pts in 24 games as a rook isn't too shabby.

Now in Philly he is stuck on the 4th line, shitty linemates and no special teams.

But he said to be on such a solid team with a legit shot, its what you play for. The guys in philly are great, and he sits next to Foppa in the room.

Things like this remind you of what a business is though.

well if its any consolation, i thought he looked pretty good last nite. theres also alotta older guys on the flyers that are guy move out in a year or two to make way for guys like him
