That was from the Christmas episode in mid December 1977. He originally played "Less than zero" but broke into "Radio, radio" which is the song you liked.

I must have seen a more recent episode, The Beastie Boys started playing Sabotage (I believe Alec Baldwin was the host) and Elvis ran out and shoved the lead singer, and He and the beastie boys played Radio Radio
