Sorry, but if someone did that to most of our brothers or such and we were within striking range of getting retribution, I am sure you would have a lot of people do something vicious.  He wouldn't have gotten owned because Bert would be on the ice knocked out.  Now, I don't support any of that...But D Moore already showed he is a stronger and better person by not doing anything stupid.

But I won't lie.  I am looking foward for the night when Bert gets his.

I'm looking forward to the night when Steve Moore realizes he'll never play in the NHL ever again not because of what Bertuzzi did but because he lacks any tangible skills to do so.

I have no more to say on this subject. I wish Steve Moore a full recovery and I wish Bertuzzi to have a long a successful and CLEAN nhl career from this point forward.

Tuzzi-  It doesn't matter how strong you are when you cheap shot people like Bertuzzi.  A 3 foot player could do what he did almost kill someone

Gym-  Why the resentment at Moore?  Ridiculous.

Its OK>..He will make millions being a Lawyer. I give him credit for really wanting to be a hockey player when he could probably have a higher net worth practicing law through his life.

Honestly, that's probably a better career anyway. I have to sort of agree with Tuzzi or Gymmonster, when whoever it was basically said Moore doesn't have much skill. Nothing against the guy, but from what I saw, he was nothing more than a 3rd line role player at best. Kinda like Dominic. Real hustler, no doubt, but I really don't see him breaking in on any team any higher than 3rd line duties.

The Moore kids are all very bright. Harvard education will get you far. Glad to hear he's gonna be going into the legal field.

funny you brought up the Harvard thing, I was watching Sportsnet a few hours ago and they talked about D Moore.

The Moore family had 4 boys who ALL went to Harvard if I recall correctly and they all played hockey.

1) cost a fortune to send all the boys there

or

2) they must have been freaking crazy smart to all get scholarships and not have to pay to go there.

I think this topic is like beating on a dead horse. IT's not going to get anyone anywhere, everyone should just let it go and resume talking about what the original poster intended, about Todd not wanting to be traded.

If the Canuck's do need a goalie....how about a package deal to the Bruins? They seem to be shaking things up and with Toivenin (sp?) touted as their future goalie now...maybe the Canuck's could sneak in and grab Raycroft and Murray for Bertuzzi and errrrrr Beach ball cloutier?

They are well off and I believe they got scholarships.

Theo - I've seen the Bertuzzi replayed in several different leagues and none have had the same impact. Nobody knows if it was the initial hit, or the pile on that caused all of the damage.

1 year in harvard = all 4 of my year's doing business @ SFU plus all my books...and food, and hockey gear, and more food, and more hockey gear.....and man might as well buy a Honda Civic and it'd still be more expensive to go to Harvard

Two of the brothers played minor hockey with friends of our family. From what I recall Thorn Hill is a pretty upscale place. I doubt they payed for it though.
