Who caught tonights game on HNIC?

I thought that Ouelett played well in the first and second but fell apart completely in the third. Was Auld just given the night off or what? The Canucks need some serious work on their faceoffs. Even the commentators said how bad they were being rocked. Peca was a gem in the circle tonight. Was it just me or was this just the worst reffed game of the year? Missed so many calls but then made the weakest ones possible. How about Peca bulldozering Sedin in the neutral zone in OT, skates down with a 2 on 1 and wins it?

I only caught part, but it was officiated the exact opposite as the Toronto game which was just horrid. I figure somewhere in the middle would've been "about right". I saw the Peca trip in OT and Ouellette looked awkward all night to me in the crease. He looked like a goaltender from the 80's when I was watching.

I thought Oullet played farly well although he looked a little questionable on Horcoft's goal. Auld has played like 9 or 10 games in a row so he definitly needed the night off and don't forget the Oil are the best faceoff team in the league so they can make a lot of teams look like they need major faceoff help.

At every whistle Oullet was bent over, almost like he was in pain or sick. He didn't look comfortable at all.

i noticed that too, like the way you bend when you have shooting pains in your gut, also looked slow getting up at whistles too

He seemed "thinner" than all of the other goalies in the NHL and didn't seem to move well in the net. It wasn't like I remembered him from the WJC.

Here on the east coast, I made it through middle of 3rd. The Oilers are like a cat with nine lives. Goalie Morrison stinks for 5 minutes but the Oil hang in and hang tough. They will continue to skate a full 60 minute game. I thought Mac Tavish might have screwed up taking Horcroff away from #1 line and adding Peca: shows how much I know. Oilers first 4 D are good but Ulanov and Cross are scary stuff. Nucks just let one slip away I guess. The Sedin line continues with their creativity, though. Western Canada NHL games rock!

Anson is the best fit in the NHL for them. They're so great at protecting the puck, cycling, and wearing down the other teams lines. I've also noticed there starting to play on the PK now.

The trip wasn't a trip at all, camera angle from the front clearly showed they bairly brushed each other, Sedin just was quickly turning and lost an edge in transition.

Great game entertainment wise. Hemsky is really turning into an elite player with each game this season. He was controlling the game. Well, when he wasn't tryin to go through everyone anyway...
