Fernando Pisani!

This guy has 10 goals already. I swear if you added up the total distance of all 10 goals it would equal 10'! He just mucks it up in the crease, hangs in there like a bull, and then just shovels in whatever his linemates dump to him. The last couple of games he continues to find a way to get it done. His shotgun buddy, Ethan Moreau is also an over looked under-rated power forward with a howitzer for a slap shot. Edmonton does it again tonite, coming back from down 4-2 to win late in 3rd on Fernando Pisani's GWG!! Great 3rd period for Oil as they just went after Kipper with everything. Western Canada NHL rocks again!!

I am also an Ethan Moreau fan. That guy is a beast, and he's been sick over the last 5 games. What he lacks in skill he makes up for in determination, grit and fire.

EDIT: the Oilers have 4 or 5 guys like that, Smyth, Torres, Horcoff...even Jason Smith.

I loved Moreau when he came up with the Hawks.

The Oil has 20 guys like that. This team is not pretty but gritty. I saw a bit of the 1st, came back in 2nd, Oil down 4-2. I knew they were still in it, home ice, lots of time. They just keep their foot on the throttle until they catch you. You just never know which guy it will be to score the big goal: Moreau, Horcroff, Stoll, Torres, Reasoner, Rhyno, Ales, on and on and on and on.... Edmonton is a great team to watch.

always have been great to watch...hemsky isn't a grinder, but most of the other guys yeah...they are fun, but when they can't score goals, they really can't score goals.

Horcoff is one of the best two way players in the nhl i say, he has 22 assists already and like 30 points. The Oil have been my favorite team since i was 5(im thirteen)and this is one of the more exciting teams to watch in the past five years.

Yeah this has nothing to do with Mexico (Pisani) but watching Hemsky last night was like watching someone with Sakic's shot, Sakic's speed, and Datsyuk's hands. He was unreal, completely ran Vancouver's show the whole entire game (barring when he was getting ran by Ruutu). His patience with the puck is amazing. I never noticed him this much before, he looked like a pure game breaker last night though. Thought I'd share that...

Pierre gave Ales Monster Player of the Game. He was the dominant player in a crazy game. The last few games Ales has stepped it up and delivered. It seems like a lot of guys who wanted to make their country's Olympic teams really went to work to show they have the tools for the big ice in the last 10 days. If Ales keeps it up he could be in for a "Monster" year!

It helps to spend about half the game on the power play. That was a terrible game to watch, gotta love that western canadian hockey. Bad defense, horrible goaltending and constant trips to the penalty box.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. That is like saying the classic Miami Dolphin/San Diego Charger game was bad because there was too much scoring. A 7-6 score usually means bad goaltending and lousy defence but it can be fun to watch, not terrible. I have tapes of "classic" 2-1 games from 2002 if you want to watch "defensive" hockey. I know low scoring games can be fun to watch but a good old fashion barn burner is good to see on a cold December night.

I watched the game, it was bad. There was no flow at all due to the players trying to play like it was a few years ago.

I watched it, too. Lets call it PP and be done with it.
