2004 Synergy Gloves

Recommended Posts

I tried on some 15 in Synergy Gloves and thought that they were small. I wear Bauer 5000 15 in gloves and they fit perfect. It seemed like all the Synergy gloves were marked wrong and their sizing was one down. 15's should have been 14's and 14's being 13's. Any one else notice this?

That's one reason my brother opted for a different brand of gloves, he was going to get the silver Synergy gloves in 13's, but they were tooo small. But, 14'' are the length of the glove, or 15'', or whatever it may be. Each brand will differ on the way they fit, some are tighter than others.

The sizes may be correct based on the overall lenght of the glove (that's what 12/13/14 inch stands for). But Easton (at least last years models) have the shortest fingers I've ever seen. I tried '03 Z-Airs in 14" (my usual size) and the fingers felt like a junior glove to me.

Tried on some 15s tonight. The 15" synergy glove honestly felt smaller than a 14..... They seem to run incredibly small.

exactly what we found at the shop. (they werent syNergys but UL's) and every thing was amazingly small. the 15'' will be extremely tight on even a bantam kid.

I haven't noticed any discrepancies in sizing in any of the gloves I've seen so far, but I'll keep my eyes on it and check out as many gloves as I can next time I am in a shop.

I wasn't impressed with they Synergy gloves at all. They don't look good IMO, they're too tight in the wrist, fingers are way too short, the padding isn't comfortable... the only good thing they did is get rid of that wrist wrap cuff. It's either love it or hate it with that thing, and I hate it.

Does anyone know the MSRP on these? I just got back from PIAS, and surprisngly they had a couple of pairs of these....and pretty cheap too. They had them for $120. I figured the top of the line Easton glove would have gone for much more. Of the websites I checked out, I could only find one that had a price, and it was $150.

You are just expierencing the excitment of new gear, on this forum, an oppioion can only be taken into account after the equip has served you for more than 30 days. Not to totally sink your boat but I would like it if you reviewed the pair after 30 days because from what other ppl are saying they dont seem like a decent pair of gloves. Well good luck with the pair and keep us or at least me informed of how they perform.

That pad on the back of the hand should be removable. They had that in last year's top of the line glove and you could take it out.

I tried them on and thought they fit a little weird. Had a huge pad at the top of the hand that was uncomfortable. Didn't compare in fit to the XX

ya thats the air bladder. i personally dont mind it but its somehtign that you have to get used to. I'll let you guys know how the gloves are after i play wiht them.

I have used my Synergy gloves for about 2 months or so now and I can say that I think they are the best retail gloves available for a person who likes a specific fit. Keep in mind that my other favorite pair of gloves was the Nike Quest 1. I prefer a tight fit across the back of the hand and have average size hands. (New Easton 14', Nike 13.5') Yes, the new Eastons do run small, but just factor that into the buying equation. Also, I think they are very comfortable with the air bladders and the snug fit. They haven't stretched out to much and the palm is impressively durable if a little slick at first. I baked them a little hotter than recommended and they were ready to go first time out.
